My First Atlanta United Game
Hey guys! Today, I’m excited to share my experience attending my very first Atlanta United game— and let me tell you, it was amazing!
Scoring the Tickets 🎟️
A few days before the game, I managed to snag two tickets for just $20 thanks to the student discount— such a great deal! If you're a student, I highly recommend taking advantage of it.
Getting There 🚆
The game was on a Saturday, and I went with my dad and two sisters. We decided to take MARTA to GWCC Station, and wow, the train was packed! I take MARTA every week for school, and normally, it’s pretty empty with just a few commuters and some homeless people. But on game day? A completely different vibe—full of excited fans dressed in Atlanta United gear.
First Impressions of Mercedes-Benz Stadium 🏟️
This was also my first time visiting Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and let me tell you—it’s HUGE. The atmosphere outside was electric, with fans chanting, music playing, and everyone buzzing with excitement. Since we got student discount tickets, we ended up sitting in the 300 section, but honestly, no complaints—the view was still great!
The Game ⚽
Atlanta United was up against CF Montréal, and the energy inside the stadium was unreal. The fans were so passionate, chanting and cheering the whole time. My dad was the only one rooting for Montréal, which made things pretty funny. And the best part? ATL WON! 🎉
Final Thoughts 💭
Overall, this was such an awesome experience, and I’d 100% go to another Atlanta United game. Whether you’re a die-hard soccer fan or just looking for a fun night out, I highly recommend checking out a game—especially if you can grab that student discount!
